2023 Annual General Meeting
The Waterloo Ringette Association is a volunteer run organization and depends on people like you to keep the association strong and growing. As our players progress through the different age groups, we are always in need of new volunteers to step up and help. If you would like to be involved, the Annual General Meeting is a great time to come forward. No specific Ringette knowledge is required, just a willingness to commit some time and get engaged. Just let us know your interests and we will have a position for you! It is a tremendously rewarding experience to support your player and others in learning and enjoying the great game of Ringette. Please consider putting your name forward for the Board or just let any Board member know you are interested in helping!
All members are welcome and encouraged to attend our Annual General Meeting. We would love to see as many members at this meeting as possible.

We need new Directors and Volunteers to come forward to help the Association run smoothly. While we have some nominees for Director-At-Large positions, we could really use some further nominees to come forward! Please consider putting your name forward as a nominee and we will reach out to you to discuss the process! There is room for everyone interested in helping and we can find something that fits for you.
Each Director-at-Large has a vote on the Board and is expected to fill at least one Key position, to be decided at a Directors meeting immediately following the Annual General Meeting. If you would like to Volunteer without being on the Board, that is also absolutely an option!
Board roles will be elected as a Director-at-Large and will fill Key Volunteer positions.

If you cannot attend the meeting, you can participate in the meeting by:
a) Voting by proxy - This means you are designating someone you name who is
attending the meeting to cast a vote on your behalf. Follow this link to vote by proxy -->WRA's 2023 AGM Proxy Form
b) Absentee voting - This means you provide your vote to the Secretary in
advance of the meeting. To do so, email secretary@waterlooringette.com.
