SPRINGETTE

 

WRA is excited to offer two springette program options: the FUN3 package and the U12 package.

Please register your player for the level they played in during the 2025-26 season.  Preference will be given to Waterloo players first, so don't delay!

 

For second-year U12 players, these session times have been scheduled to avoid any conflicts with Waterloo U14 tryouts.

 

New to Springette?

Springette is all about fun! These sessions are scrimmage-style only—no formal skills or drills. Games are run with a ref, but there are no coaches. Instead, parent volunteers help manage the bench by opening and closing the doors for line changes.  Play is continuous with two-minute shifts, keeping everyone engaged and moving. It’s a fantastic way for players to stay on the ice and enjoy the game for an extra six weeks!  Once registration is complete, players will be divided into two teams. Team assignments will be shared prior to the first ice time.  Players will be asked to bring either a light or dark jersey, depending on their assigned team.
